Open Contacts.
Click Contacts in the left sidebar. Smart lists are saved filters that live on your contacts list — so this is where you build them.
Add filters to narrow it down.
Click More Filters (or the filter icon near the search bar) to open the filter panel. Add one or more conditions — every contact that matches all of them will be in your smart list.
Common filters:
- Tag — e.g. Tag
isLead - Date Added — e.g.
in last7 days - Source — e.g. Source
isFacebook Ad - Last Activity — e.g.
more than30 days ago
The count at the top updates live as you tweak — useful for sanity-checking your rules before saving.
Save as a smart list.
Happy with the filter count? Click Save as Smart List at the top of the filter panel. Give it a clear name — something you'll recognize in a dropdown six months from now.
Find it later in the Smart Lists tab.
Your saved list lives under the Smart Lists tab at the top of the contacts screen. Click any list to see the current matches — the count refreshes every time you open it.
