Open your Contacts.
From the left sidebar, click Contacts. This is the starting point for any mass text in Jtek — the Send SMS action lives inside the contacts list itself, not in a separate campaign tool.
You'll land on the full contacts table with columns for name, phone, email, and tags. If you don't see Contacts, ask an admin — permissions may be restricted on your seat.
Select who gets it.
Check the contacts you want to text. Or, if you've saved a Smart List, switch to that tab and open one — a smart list is a saved filter (e.g. "New Leads — last 7 days") that updates itself as contacts match, so you don't have to rebuild the audience each time.
Once you have at least one contact selected, a bulk action bar slides in at the top of the table with the total count and a row of actions.
Open More → Send SMS.
With your contacts selected, click the More button in the bulk action bar at the top of the list. A dropdown opens with every bulk action available — click Send SMS to open the composer.
The same menu is where you'd find Send Email, Add to Workflow, Merge Duplicates, and other batch actions. Send SMS is almost always at the top.
Write your message & choose a send mode.
The Send SMS dialog opens with a textarea for your message. Keep it short and conversational — tap Add Custom Value to drop in personalization like {{contact.first_name}}, which gets swapped in per contact at send time.
Below the message, pick one of three send modes:
- All at once — blast the message to everyone immediately.
- Scheduled — pick a specific date and time. Useful for off-hours prep.
- Drip mode — space the sends out in batches (e.g. 50 every 15 minutes) to stay under carrier throughput limits and look less like spam.
Hit Send (or Schedule) to kick it off. You'll see delivery stats roll in on the Bulk Actions tab as the sends complete.
