Open the Import screen.
Click Contacts in the sidebar, then Import in the top-right area of the contacts list. This opens the CSV import flow.
.csv — not .xlsx.Upload your CSV.
Drag your CSV into the drop zone, or click to browse. Jtek scans the header row and file size instantly — up to around 10,000 rows per upload. For bigger lists, split into batches.
Map your columns.
Match each CSV column to a Jtek contact field. Jtek auto-detects the obvious ones (Name, Phone, Email) — you just confirm. For custom columns like lead_source or budget, pick the matching Jtek field or choose Skip to ignore.
Tag & import.
Add a tag so you can find this batch later — e.g. import-april-2026 or the source name. Then hit Import. Jtek runs duplicate detection automatically (by phone and email) and skips anything already in your CRM.
You'll see a progress bar and a summary when done: created, updated, skipped as duplicates, and any errors (usually bad phone formatting).
